What is Dua E Masura?
Dua e Masura is a prayer, which is recited at the time of Attahiyat just before the completion of Namaz.

When to Read Dua E Masura?
If you are confused about when to recite Dua-e-Masoora in Namaz, remember that this Dua is recited after Darood-e-Ibrahim i.e. before finishing your Namaz (Salat).
However, this dua is recommended but not mandatory.
In details,
“When you sit in the state of Attahiyat in the last Rakat of 2 or 4 Rakats Sunnat, Farz, Witr or Nafl Namaz and then you recite Attahiyat Dua and after Attahiyat you recite Darood Sharif. So, after reciting Darood Sharif then you need to recite Dua-e-Masura.”If you have less time to offer Namaz because the time for Namaz is getting over or there is some other hurry, then even if you do not recite Dua-e-Masura at that time, your Namaz will be done.

Translation: – O our Lord, give us goodness in this world and goodness in the hereafter (Aakhirat) and save us from the punishment of Hell.

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Hadith of Dua Masoora Prayer
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Amr R. A. that once Hazrat Abu Bakr Raziallahu Anhu appeared in the service of Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam and asked O Messenger of Allah, teach me such a prayer which I should recite in Namaz.
So Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam taught him Dua-e-Masura. (Source Sahih Al Bukhari)
